Romelu Lukaku may be included in the transfer of Diego Costa to Chelsea, with the Blues set to offer the Belgian international to Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Mail

Although many believe it was an error of Jose Mourinho to loan out Lukaku this season, especially since the 21-year-old outscored any of the Blues strikers this season, the Portuguese boss clearly sees no future for the youngster at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku, who spent the season on loan with Everton and scored 17 Premier Leageu goals for the Toffees, may be offered to Atletico Madrid as part of the deal that will see Diego Costa move in the opposite direction.

Yesterday, it was reported that the Blues had triggered a £32m release clause in Costa's contract at Atletico, with the West London club hoping to tie a deal down before the Spanish striker goes off to Brazil for the World Cup.

However, with Lukaku now being proposed as part of the deal, complications could arise as Chelsea attempt to offer a cash plus player bid for the man who has scored 27 goals in all competitions for Atletico this season.

Atletico are not the only club on Lukaku's radar, with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal keen admirers.
